"ItsYa Gurl Tay"
An enlighten soul
"Its ya gurl Tay and I have something to say"! Black history is my favorite subject, helping is my hobby, and my people are my passion. I chose to create this website to reach more of us worldwide and to initially reconnect us one click at a time. I want this website to bring awareness on how we can improve ourselves in ways that strengthen our community. I want this website to serve our people in a healthy stimulating way and to challenge ourselves to be better for the next generations to come.
Who am I?

I grew up in Kansas City, KS but I never felt home. I grew up that token black kid and always felt somewhat of an outcast amongst my own. Throughout my sore thumb social life, I always had a passion for my people and my culture. I always asked my teachers what would be done for Black History Month and if it wasn't worthy enough of our month I would take matters into my own hand. I just knew they were hiding things when they could only bring up Rosa and King but brought over 5 million of us. My intuition served right when I enrolled at Howard University and lived and learned Black Excellence. Now it's time I spread that same love to those who need it and and for those who seek it. I hope my experiences and writings create positive change in our community in hopes for the next generation to carry.
